Some of the finest feelings while traveling
Meeting cows around every corner as you hike the English footpaths
Feeling the spirit of the people as they celebrate or protest in the place they call home
Suddenly stopping in your tracks while dozens of sheep are herded past
Crossing bridges…any kind of bridges
Walking miles across the land and arriving at a cute, clean place with suitcases already delivered
Hearing harp music being played below your window in the small village of Caceres, Spain
Sharing the landscape outside the windows of the train’s observation car with strangers gathered there
The deck of a ferry,,,wind blowing, engine pulsing, seabirds cavorting, endless blue waves
Being rocked to sleep by the rhythm of a train, tucked into a narrow bed
Glo-ing Places is an item on my to-do list which I am about to check off! A place to organize my “journaling” of travels alone, with my husband, with family and friends…and students. Hoping that it might be entertaining for others!?
